Child Safety and Anti-Abduction Program
Join us for this Child Safety Event in Cochrane!
This course is designed for children age 5-12 and will provide your child with vital safety skills while building their belief in themselves. The kids will finish the course equipped with practical skills and confidence which empowers them to identify potential risks while remaining calm and taking decisive action. They will practice using their voices effectively, learning how to call for assistance loudly and clearly to attract attention and deter potential threats. They will learn how to deal with emergency situations including taking part in 911 practice drills. With this structured, age-appropriate session, kids participate in fun yet purposeful exercises where they will also learn physical techniques including awareness and anti-abduction techniques.
Each child participant will require a ticket. Parents in attendance do not require a ticket.
THIS EVENT IS HOSTED BY COCHRANE EMERGENCY TRAINING SERVICES. TICKETS FOR THE EVENT ARE $49.00 AND CAN BE PURCHASED THROUGH THE CETS WEBSITE USING THE BUTTON BELOW. PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED TO BE RESIDENTS OF COCHRANE TO ATTEND.
